Del & Jayjay tell about their shooting in Hallstatt, Upper Austria and the Austrian couple Stefanie & Fabian.
Dear readers, you have to know that @delandjjweddings are two absolutely nice identical photo and videographers twins from Glasgow, Scotland and are also at home all over the world like her couple.
Dell & Jayjay: „We ended the year with this belter of a shoot in Hallstatt, Austria. The beauty of this place is unreal. We originally planned an Autumn shoot with these guys, but it fell through due to the coronavirus restrictions. This worked out for the better as we near enough had the whole place to ourselves.
Fabian and Stephanie got engaged at Brooklyn Bridge Park, New York and they’re getting married this year in Tuscany, Italy, so they wanted to do the engagement shoot in their native Austria. We arrived a day early and scouted our locations. Light dictated our schedule, so we started early to make the most of the daylight, and we had several locations to cover. The weather behaved and we had some sunshine which was awesome.
We met Fabian and Stephanie early bells(sorry guys) and strolled through the village with no one around, which is a pretty rare occurrence here.
Couple of facts about this place:
The area is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and it is the oldest functioning salt mine in the world at 7000 yrs old. There is also a full-scale replica of the entire town in Huizhou, Guangdong province as it was apparently the inspiration for Arendelle in the Disney blockbuster Frozen.
Just as we climbed the stairs to the viewpoint of the village the sun peaked through the mountains and what a treat it was. You can see for yourself in the photos!!!
Next stop was for coffee and to warm up 🙂 then we set off to the Gosau valley for views of the Daschtien. We had an awesome day with these guys and we’re looking forward to seeing them again in the summer“
